The project emerged from an intensive exchange of letters between performer Fariborz Karimi (in Amsterdam) and writer and actress Mona Ahmadi (in Tehran). In their letters, they reflect on their friendship and their collaboration as artists.
'Whispered Dreams' explores how people experience connection, communication and closeness in relationships that span great distances and different cultures. This creates an intimate and artistic dialogue that invites the audience to reflect on what connection means, even when people are far apart.
