On Wednesday, May 13 and Friday, May 15, Beyond the Black Box takes place in and around art center Monty, Montignystraat 3, 2018 Antwerp. On Thursday, the festival takes place in and around art workshop wpZimmer, Gasstraat 90, 2060 Antwerp.
How to get there?
Monty
Monty is easily accessible from all directions via various trams and buses. Calculate the best route from your location using the De Lijn route planner.
Are you coming by train? Antwerp South Station is within walking distance of Monty (10-15 minutes). From Antwerp Berchem Station and Antwerp Central Station, you can easily reach Monty by tram, bus, or Velo shared bike.
wpZimmer
wpZimmer is located a 20-minute walk and 5-minute bike ride from Antwerp Central Station and a 15-minute walk from the main tram and bus connections. The nearest Velostation is located at the corner of Gasstraat and Van Kerckhovenstraat.

Other locations
Some performances take place in the vicinity of Monty and wpZimmer. These are always within walking distance of the festival. We will gather before the start of these performances in the courtyard of wpZimmer on Thursday, May 14, or at the reception of Monty on Wednesday, May 13, and Friday, May 15. Families with children of all ages are very welcome. To help everyone enjoy the performances to the fullest, some require quiet and are recommended for ages 14 and up:
With the hourly schedule, you can easily combine different performances and installations into a tailor-made route, ranging from short interventions in the city to longer sensory experiences.

The bars at Monty and wpZimmer are open continuously throughout the festival.
On Wednesday 13 and Friday 15 May, you can enjoy a tasty meal at Monty between 18:00 and 20:00 for €12.
On Thursday 14 May, you’re welcome at the Bildy Market at wpZimmer, where various food stands offer a diverse selection of food.
For the paid performances, you pay the standard price of €8. If necessary, select your time slots and add the performances you wish to attend to the shopping basket. Then complete the checkout process and you will receive your e-tickets in your mailbox.
Some performances have limited capacity, so booking in advance is recommended. Please note: our ticket emails are sent from Monty. Save them so you can easily find them during the festival.
Sold tickets cannot be taken back or exchanged, except in the case of cancellations. You can, of course, always resell your ticket(s) yourself (without a profit margin). This can be done via www.ticketswap.be.
